The fundamentals
Ten lessons that take you from a blank file to a real personal site you understand line by line.
This is the place to start. Across these ten lessons you write every line yourself, beginning with the plain shape of an HTML document and finishing with a complete personal site laid out on a responsive grid. Nothing is generated for you and nothing is hidden, so by the end you understand how the whole thing fits together.
Read them in order. Each lesson is short and builds directly on the one before it, and the small site you are making grows a little with every step. When you reach the end you will have something real that is genuinely yours, plus the understanding to keep changing it long after the course is over.
